I'm a Singleton!

...which is ironic, because I'm married! Get it? Singleton is my last name! But it also is slang for someone who is single! Funny, right?

Moving on.

So. We're married. We made it through the 10 months of planning, the hellish wedding week, the glorious honeymoon week, and we came out the other side a married couple! AND we still love each other. Amazing, right?

To be honest, the week of the wedding was surprisingly not hellish. I was lucky enough to have my BFF's from Florida spending the week with me, and let me tell you, that was the BEST. IDEA. EVER. They were so incredibly helpful, and supportive, and fun, and wonderful, and patient, and I could go on for paragraphs but I'll stop. Main point: It was awesome. And I will be forever grateful to them for taking the time out of their busy lives to spend this very important week with my then-fiance and I.

Another important shout-out that I need to give is to my Tennessee gals. That's right, I was lucky enough to have more than one set of friends come from thousands of miles away to see me get married!! AND we made penis twinkies. With sprinkles. While wearing firemen hats. And pieces of flair. Anywho, these girls flew out to celebrate the wedding weekend and impromptu Bachelorette Party on a whirlwind trip...with a baby! I finally got to meet one of the little ones who was born shortly after I left Tennessee this winter and HOLY CRAP is she cute! Now I just need to meet little Ava and I'll feel complete! Do you hear me Allison? BRING YOUR BABY TO CALIFORNIA SO I CAN MEET HER.

Please forgive me for the lack of photos and stories and such in this first newlywed post...we got back from the honeymoon less than 24 hours ago and I am back at work trying to readjust to everyday life. There are literally hundreds of pictures floating around the interwebs that I need to gather and organize. But I promise that very soon you will see postings of pre-wedding, wedding, reception, and honeymoon bliss! Stay tuned for more!
