Daaaa daaaaa...daaa da-da daa...
Mamas and the Papas, anyone?
Oh boy, is it ever a Monday! Clint went back to Cal Fire this morning, which was easier than I thought it would be, but still not my favorite thing in the whole world. I recognize that it's a great job, with great pay and great benefits, but I hate having him gone 3 days a week. I'm hoping this summer will be easier, because at least I get to see him on his days off...not just talk to him on the phone. And when he is gone for weeks at a time on a strike team, I'll get to see him when he comes home...not just takl to him on the phone. See a pattern here? Ha.
Anywho, so he left this morning for the re-hire academy down in Weed. He'll be there until Thursday evening, and then his first real shift at Hornbrook starts next week sometime. Gotta love the government jobs, he could possibly be starting his shift on Sunday, but no one seems to know what the schedule is yet! Not like it's important or anything, right? Not like he has his own business to run on his days off, right? Darn that bureaucracy.
Back on track. My main point of this was NOT to badmouth Cal Fire or anything government organizations. He is very lucky to have this job and we are both very appreciative of the opportunity. I'm just reiterating that this definitely feels like a Monday.
Oh, and also, I totally set off the intruder alarm at the college this morning. Gooooooood times. Who knew that thing can get so loud??? I guess that's the point, huh? Everyone in the office was busy this morning, so they gave me a key and a code to open the computer lab...but they gave me the wrong code. Oops.

Oh, and it's only 10:30 am.
