It's a new dawn, it's a new day...

It's a new liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiife! And I'm feeeeeeeeeeeeelinnnnnnnnn gooooooooood...

And yes, I am watching YouTube and listening to music while I'm at work. It's a super slow day in the lab, and I have yet to see a student walk through the door. No placement tests? No students writing papers? Bring on the music!

Seriously though, that song is my anthem for today. It has been a very interesting couple of weeks in the life of a new Singleton, with many things that I do not wish to get into on this very public blog. Add to that Clint being gone 3.5 days per week, my 19.5 hour per week job, and a lot of down time...and you get a serious need for change. So, as of this morning, it is a new dawn, a new day, and a new life...for me, etc. I am letting go of a lot, working through what I can, and trying to occupy my time in a productive manner.

Clint left for work this morning, and I vow to not have a repeat of last week. No more pizza rolls straight from a cookie sheet. No more laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy. I am going to work on our home, go for walks, start working on my scrapbook, and ENJOY the summer. It'd be easier to enjoy with some friends around, but given the circumstances, I'll make do with what I have. That situation is for another post at another time!

I have uploaded 30 photos to Walmart for prints to be picked up this afternoon. I will be starting work on a few sections of my scrapbook this week, including my bridal shower, the Brangleton Bonfire Bonanza, the Edgells, and a few pre-wedding festivities. Be on the lookout for a whole bunch of AWESOME from this girl in the next few days!
