Day 23: Glee-ful

I'll admit it...I'm a Gleek. I've watched the show faithfully since it's beginning in 2009. Unfortunately, my lack of television has hindered my faithful watching lately, and I've fallen behind. I used to spend my lunch breaks at Katie's house, catching up on my weeklys shows, but since January I have been walking 2 miles instead. I think it's better for me, and more productive...but it does make my television time suffer.

And yes, I realize that the show is available online through Fox, and I really have been meaning to set aside a day to catch up...but I haven't yet. When that free day arrives that I can set aside, I'll be sure to let you know!

I love the fact that the actors/actresses were all unknown prior to beginning the show...and that they are incredibly talented. I love the use of classic and contemporary music in different styles that connect to the overall theme of each episode. Of course, my favorite character is Sue Sylvester (isn't she everyone's?), but Mr. Schuester is a close second. Rachel and Kurt annoy me, I find Finn endearing, I still don't trust Quinn or Puck, and the Artie/Brittany relationship is incredibly disturbing. My favorite addition this season is the football coach, Ms. Beast...she won me over when she bought Artie the legs at Christmas. I feel like we need to see more of Emma, and I sure hope they aren't slowly writing her out because of her marriage to John Stamos' character.
