I think monarch butterflies are migrating to my stomach

45 days!

It seems like just last week I made that post about 90 days, but last week I was in the happiest place on earth, so that just can't be right. Either way, holy crap! 45 days!

Now it truly is time for all of the little details to sneak up on us. The invitations have gone out and the rsvps are trickling in...so far we have 133 in the "yes" category, and 11 in the "no" category. We still have 2 more weeks until the end date for rsvps, and I think we're doing just fine!

I get to pick my dress up from the seamstress on April 24th, and I am VERY excited about that! Due to my awesome workout schedule, the dress fit absolutely perfectly and needed only bra cups and a bustle...YAY! The tough part will be maintaining this exact size for the next 6 weeks, since I fluctuate so easily :)

I'm going to start work on the centerpieces this week. My mother-in-law is making our programs and favor boxes (SUPER adorable!), and has already finalized everything for the rehearsal dinner. The baker has been paid and the cake-topper is in her possession, and while I am nervous about her 3 week mission trip to Africa in May, I trust her to do a wonderful job!

The only thing I am really nervous about at this point is the ceremony. I have not heard from the Priest who will be officiating the ceremony, and I have tried to get in contact with him numerous times in the past month...to no avail. I have contacted the church secretary, who assures me she has been forwarding my messages to him, but I am becoming uneasy about it. He recently came to the United States from Poland, speaks very broken English, and has never performed a wedding before, much less a wedding in the United States! I am concerned that we will have a language barrier problem during the ceremony, and that certain traditions may not be honored (giving the bride away, pronouncing you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride, etc). The Catholic Church does not include these items in the nuptual ceremony, but they are very common among Catholic weddings in the states...which our Priest has never been involved in. See my concern? The primary parish Priest has told me these traditions will be honored, but he is not the one performing the ceremony. I think once we meet with him I'll feel more comfortable, but that doesn't look to be happening anytime soon!

Still need to get the marriage license, too. Can't forget that one! :-)
