More updates

Oh, what the heck! How about another post, just for funsies!

An update on the wedding plans...invitations are being sent out at the end of this week. Of course, this means that I have a lot of envelope stuffing left to do, but it will get done :) I know most etiquette sites say to send the invitations out 4-6 weeks in advance, but with ours falling on a holiday weekend, I feel that 8 weeks is a better choice. Plus, once they are in the mail, they are out of my hair!!

We finished our pre-marriage counseling through the church a few weeks ago. It was surprisingly fun and not as churchy as we were expecting it to be...the folks leading it were pretty fantastic, too! Many of the topics we discussed each were topics Clint and I had discussed previously, which made us feel prepared and proud of ourselves :)

Judy Pavlik, our photographer, is taking our engagement photos next week. We originally planned to skip the engagement photos because we didn't feel they were necessary. But after meeting with Judy regarding the wedding photos, she offered to do engagement photos as part of our package, free of charge. Considering how much we are paying for the wedding photos, we thought we should get as much out of this as we can! :) Plus, it will help us get more comfortable with her photography style...more preparation for the big day!

I have been having a huge dilemma about my hair lately, and I decided to cut it last week. However, despite that decision, I didn't follow through with it. I still have my long hair, mostly because I'm scared about not being able to get it back if I cut it. My new plan of action? Taking my hair accessories to my hairstylist in a few weeks and telling her to "make it pretty." If she can make me like my long hair, then I'll keep it. If I still don't care for it, sayonara.

Anywho, I think that's most everything for now...I promise to be better about blogging...I'm sure more will be happening, the closer we get to the wedding!
