Thankful, day 11

11/11/11

Today, I am thankful for the men and women, past and present, who have dedicated their lives to our American ideals and freedoms. I am especially thankful for the service of my brothers, and I pray for their safety every day.

In addition to my family, I am thankful for my experiences with the amazing men and women who were stationed at Fort Campbell, KY. They provided some of my best and most favorite memories.

And finally, I am thankful for Armistice Day, the original intention of this holiday, without which the atrocities of WWI would not have ceased.
