My husband...Disney expert, extraordinaire.

Ok. Please forgive my lack of posting lately. It has been a very chaotic week or two, and I'm glad that things are calming down a little bit. That means I can get back to my blogging lifestyle...or what I like to call "the good life."

I wanted to share a cute story with you guys today, one that had me laughing hysterically at the adorableness of my husband. Somehow, last night, we got on the subject of The Little Mermaid. I'm sad to say I don't completely remember how we got on the topic, because I know our previous conversation was about euthanasia and how it was used in an episode of Law and Order: SVU to poison some old lady. I just don't see how that led to this. But whatever. Somehow I talked Clint into telling me the story of The Little Mermaid.

Clint: So once upon a time there was Ariel, Flounder, and Sebastian. Wait...Flounder was the fish, right?

Me: Yes, he was the fish.

Clint: And they had a friend who was a seagull.

Me: His name was Scuttle.

Clint: Ariel got in trouble. So Flounder and Sebastian went out to this fishing boat to help her. Except they got caught by the fisherman and put in his fish tank.

Me: What?

Clint: They got put in his fish tank.

Me: What are you talking about?? There's no fish tank in The Little Mermaid.

Clint: Yes there was! After Ariel gets turned into a human, Flounder and Sebastian try to help her but they get caught and they're in the fisherman's home or office or something in a fish tank.

Me: I really have no idea what you're talking about.

Clint: I KNOW THERE IS A DISNEY MOVIE WITH A FISH TANK!!!

Me: Ohhhhhh....are you thinking of Finding Nemo??

Clint: Yeah, with the little orange fish, Flounder.

Me: Um, honey, his name was Nemo in Finding Nemo. Flounder was in the Little Mermaid.

Clint: Whatever, let me tell my story how I remember it.

Basically, the story ended up being about 2/3 Finding Nemo and 1/3 The Little Mermaid. His creativity astounds me sometimes, it really does. But his cuteness really has no boundaries :)
