I'm going to skip over the details of my recent unemployment for now. Not only to spare you the boring points, but also to spare myself the emotional torment of being unemployed for the first time in a loooooong time. But I suppose I can only escape this economy for so long, especially in a county where the unemployment rate is nearing 20%.
So what is my much needed Sunburst, you may ask? It is actually the Samsung Sunburst, my new super cool, super fancy, probably made for people much younger than me, phone! JIIIIIIIITTERBUG!
It's mostly the touch-screen aspects of it that confunded me, especially when it comes to the texting. I must admit, I am kind of a pro at texting. But not on this fancy full qwerty keyboard business...I am all about the straight up, normal digit keypad. I had that thing memorized, and could type out and send a text without even looking at the screen. It's okay to be impressed. My new phone has the option of using the regular digit keypad or a qwerty keyboard, but both are touch-screen and both are equally difficult for me (JIIIIIITTERBUG!), so I have decided to take on the qwerty keyboard. I have made it my goal to become a pro at this thing...I WILL CONQUER!
But those of you who remember Crash (and admit, it is a fond memory), he will not be laid to rest in cell phone heaven. Clint and I have decided to frame him and put him up in our home because, darn it, he was a good phone. And he worked right up until the day I sold out and upgraded to a new one. Despite losing his flipper, his back, his memory card holder, his shiny orange strip, a few keys, having the battery taped in, and having the keypad taped on. He was a good phone. And I will miss him. Kind of.
Also, if you didn't already click on the JIIIIIIIIIIITERBUG's that were strategically placed throughout this posting...please do so now. You will not be disappointed.
